About the Author


Andrew Bunting is the assistant director of the Chicago Botanic Garden. Prior to that, he worked at the Scott Arboretum at Swarthmore College where he helped build a national collection of magnolias recognized by the North American Plant Collections Consortium. He is on the board of directors for the Magnolia Society International and served two terms as president. He has lectured extensively on magnolias, written articles for Arnoldia, Organic Gardening, The American Gardener, and the Magnolia Society Journal, and has appeared on The Martha Stewart Show.
